What is the arm badge on the sleeve of this German administration functionary of Radom, occupied Poland? I assume that the Generalgouvernement cuff title was worn by administration units of Governor-General Frank's occupying forces or were they only used by the leadership?

Many thanks for any further information

    'Generalgouvernement" officials arm badge?

Interestingly the only Generalgouvernement cufftitle images I can find online show the word "Generalgouvernement" in all capital letters whereas this officer's cufftitle is initial cap followed by lower case?

Why does the cloth patch eagle look to its left wing?
According to regulations the head should look the other way around.
As such it was published in many magazines and the Reichsgesetzblatt,
March 1940 and for example Uniformen-Markt , Schwert und Spaten,
Der Uniformschneider etc. All about the same time.

The rank is Oberrgierungsrat, worn with the field-grey or dark uniform.

Beware as they are heavily faked in the 1960's and 1970's on orders of for example
    Dutch and English dealers.

There was just recently a thread from the Delich collection that showed several various versions and ranks of this arm shield and was discussed abit more in depth. Here is the link to it:

The quality of that material is obvious, especially the stuff from David.

My understanding is that this eagle looking over the left should was made in 1938 for Hitler's visit to Rome...
