Yes it is harsh Ned, My talents lay in other areas like photography you don’t see me on photography forums saying to novice photographers " You have just lost all credibility" because i have an opinion on a subject that no one knows forsure . I myself accept peoples opinions especially if they are novice . I’m doing my best to learn more about German WW2 and never claimed to know much and i think everyone should be able to offer their opinion without being shot down.
I’m here to learn more and this is the best site on the web hands down.
I have allot to learn but it just made me think that someone like Hitler didn’t have the "end" figured out or a way to get out when it came to that position. I don’t think anyone knows 100% for sure. Sorry for having an open mind i just don’t believe everything I’m fed. I didn’t say that i believe the rumors just think its odd that someone of his structured and organized life didn’t have a escape planned.
Cant blame me for the open mind i mean there is no evidence of hitlers body at the scene. The skull fragments turned out to be female and thats a fact and the list goes on. Maybe he did die there but its just as unclear as if he made an escape.
I dont think you or i will know 100% sure so in the end its just both our opinions
I am 100% with you on that....who cares about credibility as desiring it only stifles creative thinking.

Hitler did not actually Plan on dying in the bunker, but rather told people that he thought that the troops would fight on with the ultimate resolve to protect and save the city and their beloved God-like leader. He was totally disappointed and disgusted that his staying in Berlin had not had the expected effect. But at that point, leaving was no longer possible, so rather than be taken prisoner and made a spectacle over, he chose to end it himself. Churchill was vastly disappointed by this, as he had planned to import an electric chair Just to execute Hitler in....

First of all as someone who has read the book about hitlers escape to Argentina I would like to say in all of the book the author has no factual evidence at all,
I believe he says something along the lines of "this is what we can assume happened" and then writes out his pure fantasy.
Also hitler was very ill with Parkinson's so if he had survived the war he would of only seen out another year or two before meeting his end.

The second point I would like to make is about hitler in his final days , in his own mind, he saw himself as reliving what Frederich the great did.
many of his staff would say behind his back the war is over due to the fact hitler would just place fantasy armies along the map.

Soon when hitler did realise the war was over, he took suicide as a way out not to be humiliated and paraded as a "wax work" in Moscow.
Its something he also encouraged all of the bunker staff to do because it "wouldn't be worth living in a world without national socialism"

The last point I would like to make is a few years ago a former KGB officer came out publicly after years of silence to say they had discovered hitlers burned body ad reburied it a few times before burning it at a secret location along with hitlers ashes.
Im looking for an a case to an 1936 olympics medal and a case to entry to austria medal. pm me If you have any spare.

I have also read the book in question but the authors did not make a strong enough case to convince me of the validity of their hypothesis. But it was an interesting read none-the-less

Muller was hardly a hard-line Nazi, prior to the Nazi taking over in 1933 as a senior police officer he'd been happy to make life hard for the NSDAP. Like a lot of the Gestapo officers I don't think he was too worried who he worked for.

The Head of the Gestapo was not a "hard-line Nazi"? Okey.....

I quote!....."Müller occupied a position in the Nazi hierarchy between Himmler, the overall head of the Nazi police apparatus and the chief architect of the plan to exterminate the Jews of Europe, and Eichmann, the man entrusted with arranging the deportations of Jews to the eastern ghettoes and death camps. Thus, although his chief responsibility was always police work within Germany, he was fully in charge and thus responsible to execute the extermination of the Jews of Europe. During 1941 he dispatched Eichmann on tours of inspection of the occupied Soviet Union, and received detailed reports on the work of the Einsatzgruppen, who killed an estimated 1.4 million Jews in 12 months."

Agreed. As was the case with Bormann.
He seemingly deflated when AH passed on and wandered around aimlessly before making a halfhearted escape attempt from the Bunker and only making it as far as the Weidendammer Bridge.
He actually escaped as far as the area behind the Lehrter Bahnhof with Stumpfegger before being shot down by the Soviets , this was part of the Coordinated escape attempt from the Friedrichstrasse Bahnhof led by Ziegler andf Monhke and Tanks and SPW's of the Nordland Division with the intention of heading for the Humbolthain FLAK Turm , it wasn't succesful as nearly all were captured or killed but certainly not a half hearted attempt !!

What revisionist history book are you reading? Mueller was an attendee at the Wannsee Conference and fully involved in the planning and execution of the Holacaust. If he had been captured and tried, he certainly would have been one of the "big fish" convicted and executed for major war crimes.
