ive just found out that my grandpar was a sargent in the british army, and he was at camp O 165 watten in ww2. he made freinds or we think with a german officer. this guy painted a water color portrait of my grandpar and under he put his name and date. i would just like to no if anyone could help me, or able to tell me who this man is. we think grandpar still wrote to him after the war but have none of these letters. his name is karl varnecke and thats all i no of him thanks.
