OK - So this is for sale on an auction site and they have one picture. No real close-up. Here it is. I know it would be very difficult to judge, but maybe there can be some educated guesses that can be of help here. I'd really appreciate it. Again - sorry, but this is all that they offer in the way of picture - which might be a clue that it is a fake? Anyway - have a go with your thoughts please.

Would documents like this have been signed personaly or would it be a facsinlie signature? It would be hard to authenticate unless you took it experts in handwriting and having the ink looked into and all sorts, I'd reckon Hitlers signature would not be hard to fake!

And an extract detailing some actions of Rössiger..............................Now Erpro 210 broke up into its four sections, and Rubensdoerffer himself set course for a more inland CH station, Dunkirk, north-west of Dover. Hauptmann Martin Lutz had been assigned the first and easiest target, Pevensey CH, right at the start of their run and dead ahead as they raced towards land. Oberleutnant Wilhelm-Richard Roessiger had been ordered to follow the coast east to the towering masts just beyond Rye, while Oberleutnant Otto Hintze with his four fighter bombers was deputed to knock down those provocative towers above Dover.
At Rye along the coast, Roessiger's foursome destroyed every hut, but as at Pevensey the reinforced transmitting and receiving blocks and the watch office survived though the personnel were severely shaken. The damage at Dunkirk, too, proved the success of Rubensdoerffer's training: every bomb bang on target.

All along the coast the tall towers trembled, and black smoke rose to blot out the sun.

But by mid afternoon, General Wolfgang Martini, Luftwaffe signals chief, knew bitter disappointment. Operating with stand-by diesels, every station except Ventnor - a write off for three long weeks - was reported back on the air. To Martini, it seemed now as if radar stations could not be silenced for more than a few hours at a time.

so if this document is real (and really there is no way to tell from the poor photos, it will go for an absolute MINT!

Although for my part. It doesn't look like the detail is there in the folder. These were prized possessions, and very ornate. The eagles head looks like a pigeon

Genuine Hitler signatures can be a little of a minefield as a few years back there was that guy who forged the now well notorious but fake Hitler Diaries which had experts fooled until really indepth testing was carried out. The guy was an expert at forging Hitlers signature and spent most of his life producing them for anyone who wanted one. Sadly this kind of thing only adds to the problem for collectors. Some award documents for the KC did have genuine signatures-but not all. Advice should allways be sought when looking into purchasing something like a Hitler signature which range from £800 for a basic signed autograph album page. It varied and there is no hard ans fast rule. Occasionally Hitler signed the Ritterkreuz Urkunde himself, sometimes a facsimile stamp was used.
