As for a particular soldier, unless he was a winner of a high award then the chances aren't great. You could try WASt (just google Deutsche Dienstelle) but you will need the man's date of birth at the very least and if you are not the next of kin chances are that they will not look.
I can remember seeing a photo collection relating to this Regiment whilst they were in the Kuban i'll see if i can find it !
