Where can I find information on the WWII German
733rd Heavy Artillery Battalion? This unit fought at
Stalingrad but I can't find anything in writing about
them.
Thanks,
Bob

Been searching and haven't found a lot. There's a mention of the schwere Artillerie-Abteilung 733 (heavy Artillery Division) as part of IV. Armee-Korps in April 1940. Link:
IV. Armee-Korps - Lexikon der Wehrmacht
But besides that I cannot find anything else. Hopefully someone else here will have more information.
RedArmy Collector:
Thanks for your info/Link on the 733d heavy

Huck:
Thank you very much for the information on the
733d Heavy Artillery Batt. I knew they were destroyed
at Stalingrad as I have a piece (marked) of equipment
that was dug there. I will post this as a thread when
I received it.
Tks,
Bob
