    Great photos! Like everyone else has said, I'd also love to see this sub one day!

    The pics brought back my own walk though the 505.

    The sub is fantastic to see and really is a must for sub fans.

    Didnt they get on your case for taking the pics?

    Hi Scout. Pics were ok with no flash used, the young fellow in some of the pics was our tour guide and had just 4 people in our group.

    No problem then.
    When I visited, the young lady guide was adamant about us not being allowed to take any pics inside the 505.

    Hello,

    The museum sold off the anchor chains by link and 1/2 link. I have a 1/2 link that has been cleaned. I will get a picture up.

    I've never been in a U-boot, only in a Dutch sub.

    Too bad that I live in Holland, 'cause I would like to visit this museum too.
