As i said before last Xmass i found a downed Ju87 Stuka on Crete and i'm visiting it at the end of this month to photograph it. Does anyone know where can i find information about the Stuka losses during the Battle of Crete? I guess it was hit during this battle because it's not far from the Maleme airfield...

Chances of find a slightly complete Stuka in modern Greece very slim, after the war nothing was left of Greece, on top of that it was ravaged by Civil war, the 1st thing poor broke farmers would do was to cut up anything of ex military value and sell it to the scrap man.
As the the Giant Italian guns on Leros (Guns of Navarone) hardly have the base bolts left in them and the concrete mounts are all that is left surrounded by herds of goats and all the goats crap to go with it.
    But..... you never know
