    I will do some checking for any info on Vormsi and yes there are laws for metal detecting in Estonia , basically if you are detecting for historical artifacts it is illegal to do so without the required permission !!

    The Estonian Islands were of course captured by the 61 ID during Operation Beowulf in 1941 and again by the Soviets in 1944 , a good place to begin to search.
