looking for information to solve a puzzle??

im looking to find information into the 1st pz. div. A.A.5 does this mean anything?? I figured the A.A. was aufklarugs abtielung??( a motorized artilery reconnaissance unit) .. I have seen pictures with them on motrcycles and half tracks towing howitzer canons.. and in the snowy fields of Russia. with the howitzers. but when I type in the A/A/5 I don't get a hole lot of info on searching internet..in pictures he had second class iron cross. Russian front medal and general assaultbadge and black wound badge then upgraded to a silver wound badge after he lost his eye when there tank hit a mine. I saw the L.A.H emblem on the shoulder patch in picture.. and double v on left arm.. with 4 white stripes on his colar tab..and the adoph hitler arm band.. im just trying to decipher what this information meant..anyone a expert with some insight?? thx
