Thank you for that info Gunny , I have looked on the Google before a have never been able to fined anything about the barracks.
The reason for my interest is that my Grandads regiment occupied the barracks when the Germans surrendered at the end of the war.

No problem at all, i've found sometimes if it's a German related search google gives better results if you search in German for example Goettingen Kaserne. I knew my schoolboy German would be handy one day!...
