I recently won an auction for a helmet and a door plaque and I am hoping someone can shed some light on the door plaque. Not sure where the proper location for this would be so mods feel free to move this to the best location. The helmet has a date of July 7th 1944 written in it and it came with the following plaque.

Thanks Harry, I got the helmet dated July 7 1944 in the liner and this plaque but I hoped someone could shed some light on the plaque. I know the arsenal was one of the last hold outs in Cherbourg.
