BEVO is short for Bandfabrik Ewald Vorsteher, a Wuppertal-based manufacturer of machine-woven cloth insignia. The term is used to describe insignia by this particular manufacturer or, colloquially, insignia made in this manufacturing method: machine-woven in a continuous strip on a Jacquard loom.
