[QUOTE=mauser9;1450036] New one out on Hoth but have not read any rave reviews. QUOTE]

If that's Hoth's 'Panzer Operations' ( Casemate 2015 ) I have a copy and was pleased to add it to my collection. It's much more the views of a professional commander and concerns only the 'Barbarossa' period and the immediate aftermath. You don't so much get the smell of cordite with this book rather than an overview of events, terrain encountered, communication between senior German staff, etc. It was originally written in 1956 with the Cold War very much in mind.
