    Operations information for U-614
    09.01.1943 - 26.02.1943
    First Sailing - active patrol
    U-614 left Kiel under the command of Wolfgang Sträter on 9th Jan 1943 and arrived at return on 26th Feb 1943 after nearly seven weeks.
    On 6th Feb 1943 in square AK 65, U-614 came under attack from an unidentified aircraft. U-614 was not damaged by the attack.
    At 1433 HRS on 8th Feb 1943 in square AL 02, U-614 came under attack from an aircraft of RAF 120 Squadron. U-614 was not damaged by the attack.
    On 9th Feb 1943 in square AL 52, U-614 came under attack from an unidentified aircraft. U-614 was heavily damaged in the attack.
    Wolfgang Sträter hit one ship on this patrol from convoy SC-118.

    On 7th Feb 1943 he sank the British 5,730 ton Harmala, sailing with convoy SC-118.

    12.04.1943 - 24.05.1943
    Second Sailing - active patrol
    On the 12th Apr 1943, U-614 left St. Nazaire under the command of Wolfgang Sträter and after six weeks arrived at return on 24th May 1943.
    At 0027 HRS on 2nd May 1943 in square AJ 91, U-614 came under attack from an aircraft of USAAF
    25.07.1943 - 29.07.1943
    Third Sailing
    U-614 departed under Wolfgang Sträter from St. Nazaire on 25th Jul 1943 and arrived at return on 29th Jul 1943 after four days.

    Not that boat specifically, my interests are U-26 & U-46 but:

    It would be worth asking Max @ Atlantik-Pirat Collecting U-boat kriegsmarine Memorabilia German Navy WW2 as he has helped me before on bits & pieces
