You really must visit the airforce museum. They have Hermann Goering's private collection of aircraft which is a feast for the eyes

Have a nice trip, drink the good beer and see all, friend.

Stay tuned for pictures , from the Vodka bar, too

When we visited Auschwitz we paid the extra for a private tour. And i'm glad we did. The guide was fantastic and allowed us the whole day if needed. He gave us tours of the places but then returned to the car so we could go round on our own and take it all in. We went to the air force museum with a chap who was offering tours. He drove us there in a old, rusty red van with a blower heater attached inside as heating, he stunk of vodka, but his knowledge was second to none. He then took us to the salt mines which are breathtaking and we got the bus back. Enjoy the holiday! Very envious of you
Hi
Make sure you visit the Wielzscka Salt mine...sounds weird but it absolutely amazing. Also the Plazcow Camp site (Schindlers List fame) is nearby. Careful of pickpockets in the flea market, and make sure to ask for a "Tatanka" at the nearest bar. Have a great time.
On the Rynek, main place, you have the EUROPESKA RESTAURANT with nice food, inside there is a large hall with paintings and pictures of the 90's. Walesa...
Everytime, I think in the 60's the pictures were differents with custumers in uniforms.
During the war, German customers in various uniforms.
Before, peace.
A place charged with history!
Leaving the day after tomorrow in great company.
Best,
Jan
Have a safe and rewarding trip Jan. I look forward to plenty of pictures and a full review once you have returned.
Regards,
Carl
