I've seen this picture a few times now, and I'm convinced it's a very famous SS tank gunner...

I do believe it to be.. SS Oberscharfuhrer Balthasar "Bobby" Woll.

This is Woll, after capture, and recovering from his head wounds in Darmstadt POW Camp 1945 (?).

Look at the pictures and see the resemblance.

What do you think?

It's certainly not "Bobby Warmbrunn".

He's the guy on the bottom right...
