    Dear All,

I am asked this question often by my friends that are traveling to Russian and would like to see museums related to militarily history. Thought it will be helpful to list it here as well for the reference (especially now that it is summer and a lot of people are traveling).

    In and near Moscow:

    1) Kubinka tank museum (unfortunately there is not much on the internet in English, but its really one of best of its kind in the world), you can see there pretty much every tank that was built around the world (incl. German Mouse Super Heavy Tank, Sturmtiger, Ferdinant and many experimental tanks like Kugelpanzer)

Yes, that one is really great I heard. There is new private museum under construction on the Siege of Leningrad that will contain a lot of finds from the area, it promises to be really interesting as well.

I will add more photos here when it will be launched.

    Sounds good!

You must go to this museum, you will not be disappointed. It is run by collectors for collectors in honour of the Veterans.

Thinking of coming back to Moscow next month. There is a big battle re-enactment being run by my friend. Looking at the cost of flights now.

    Cheers, Ade
