    Dear All,
A colleague of mine is trying to find out some information about his father. He didn't really know him well throughout his lifetime and subsequently doesn't have much information to go on.

    What we do know:

His name is Edward Walker Hudson, born 1st January 1908 in Motherwell, Scotland.
Mr Hudson served in WW2 as a Marine (42 Commando) and saw some service in Scapa Flow.

That is as much information I have to go on so if anyone can give me some pointers as to where to find out more or indeed has information about the above I would sincerely appreciate any help.
    Thank you for your time.
