    Gidday all,
I have posted this item before, but still are none the wiser,so i thought i might have another go.
The item has the Royal Regiment of Artillery insignia painted on it,it is hollow and made of porcelain or pottery ?
Its about 100mm in length and circular and the ends look like they plug ? into something else.
I think it pre dates WW2 as i found it in a 19th century tip.
Some ideas i have, is that it is either a Beer tap handle or maybe a Toilet chain handle, both of which seem totally implausable
Glad to hear any new ideas or guesses

I believe that it is part of a long barreled tobacco pipe.

It might well be WWII but the shape of the crown makes it post 1902. An enigmatic object. Does it appear to be hand painted by an amateur or part of a "manufactured" piece?

    Whatever its just an opinion.

AH, now thats more like it,Thanks William
Now that opens the possibility that it could even have been incorporated into a walking stick or similar as well
Jerry by the looks of it,i would say it is hand painted, but a very good job was done on it.

I would tend to agree with William.
