Talking of the Reichswald, here is a picture for your interest
The Churchill's in this pic' in post #12, are most probably from 6th Guards (Independant) Tank Brigade, (either 4th Btn Grenadier Guards or 4th Btn Coldstream Guards).
As far as I am aware, they were the only Churchill gun tank armoured unit involved in the Reichswald Forest battles. (My late grandfather was a Sgt/Tank Commander with 4th Btn GG and was there)
