Tracing Royal Artillery Officer
Hi all
i am trying to trace Lt Cecil Herbert Beer Royal Artillery. I have been on the regular sites, i am used to tracing WW1 soldiers but WW2 are more difficult as unless you are NOK you cant get service docs.
This is what i have so far
Service number 100169
2nd Lt seniority 02/10/1939
Lt Provost Staff seniority 14/11/1940
Temporary deputy assistant provost marshal 25/06//1942
Would like to know his service history units etc, he was northern command judging by the insignia on his battledress
