Watervliet Arsenal 175th Anniversary coin.

I am sharing a coin released in 1988 to commemorate the 175th year of operations for the Watervliet Arsenal, located in Watervliet, New York. The arsenal is still in operation today.
This is by no means a rare piece, but it is serialized and has a low number. It fits in to my growing N.Y. related militaria collection.

Very nice . I drive by the arsenal all the time. My grandmother worked there for years and I remember going to open house and field days . Its not the same as it was in the 70's and 80's but its still making stuff. Gary
