Hi guys. As many of you might know, I have a USN Kabar that was carried by a soldier during the second world war. I have done minimal research on him. All I know is he served in the pacific. His initials are R.A.D. and his first name is Ray. If you guys know anywhere I could find his picture, or any info on him, I would really appreciate it. I figure I could make a display case with his picture, knife etc. Thanks people.

The details you provided are not enough to ID this man.
If you have his full name, you may be able to get some info.
    Try the U.S. National Archives.

You might simply place a photograph of U.S. Marines in battle
gear or in combat with the knife..........
    Regards,

    Steve.
