But I seen the denazyfied items at 5-20 euros at the collectors meetings in Europe. For example I bought SS alu buckle with just removed swastika for 40 eur, fake buckles at the ,market are selling as fakes for about 30-60 eur...
Matt, you are right, fakes is everywhere, and cheap also... But can be recognized if you are specialized in that area...

Hey guys, you are both right, this is a normal what I can pigeon head fake, then in the next picture you will see another one that has been aged to make it look ground dug, amazing what people will do to sell these item

What are reason to sell a items like that- a lot of work for a small profit and totally lost of reputation? But really from the picture that looks as a good example....

I've seen often fake denazified buckles on ebay reaching outrageous price for such items.

Where I live it's still not difficult to find relics in the woods, and hence you can get original stuff at cheap prices, but at military fairs or on internet such aged fake relics are spreading.

I don't think it's too difficult to age a buckle to look like that today, thanks to chemical products.

These guys sell many of such items online and if you pile up 20 dollar here and 30 there ...it's worthy for some dishonest people.
