Assmann HJ markings (variations)

Here is a small grouping relating to some of the quite odd variations to Assmann markings, seen on their nickle silver and/or, nickle silver plated HJ's.

Please note that all the buckles are either nickle silver or nickle silver plated, "C" catch types.

Are there more Assmann buckles with makers mark on the prong, than the HJ ones ?

Do not forget that the claw stamp marks are RZM 24 - for Overhoff. I have seen different types of Overhoff buckles with the rare RZM 24 mark on the claws, to include SA, HJ and DLV to name but three.

This buckle does not really belong within this tread and it will eventually form part of the SA data base.

A nickle on brass SA by Overhoff, with the elusive claw stamps.

Cracking thread to start David, shows the chaps what variation in buckle there can be just between one maker, and gents, there are some very nice and very rare buckles being shown here, many thanks
