Hello,
the catch is in my eyes a early standart type who was assemblyed by many early buckles from different makers .
Also Assmann has this .
The ears on the Wiedmann buckles are specialy !
With the prongs you are allright Ben .

I'm searching for
Buckles 3.Reich
special SA/NSKK/NSFK with maker marks
Link to my collection : http://www.warrelics.eu/forum/album.php?albumid=1175
Yes, Ben is right, the prongs are typical of B&N buckles, I would like to know the David North opinion, considering that the DJ Wiedmann buckle that post it, is the same buckle of John T web page
Best regards
Iván
Again guys, this is just an observational opinion, the only prongs I have seen like that are Berge & Nolte & early Assmann but the early Assmann are not as crudely cut
Ben
I have one I will post, I have never really liked it and my personal thought is maybe the original rune was ripped off/damaged and then replaced with a home made fix.. I will let you decide. If I remember correctly this was sold by Weitze and I purchased from David North many years ago. It sits in my "hmmm I don't know box "
