Early "NS-Jugend" and not "NS-Studentenbund"

Here is a pair of buckles that I hope may be of some interest.

For an absolute age, they have always been referred to as early "NS-Studentenbund" and which they are not. The diamond or lozenge design perhaps provided an easy and non researched description. The buckle instead and with the support of period images, is early NS-Jugend (youth) related.

Cool buckles. I noticed how the swastikas are somewhat different - one "fatter" and one "thinner".....cool!! Not your everyday buckles for sure!
