That is a beautiful piece. I like unissued items just to get an idea of what one would look like at the issue depot before being used.

looks like a Cramer & Dornbach just like the one in German Belt Buckles 1845-1945 page 282. Gary

Super condition late issue HJ and with quite excellent obverse detail, albeit with the original finish having mainly leeched away and which is usual for this metal. What a bonus though ! - the original RZM tax label which correlates so well to the buckle markings as Cramer und Dornbach of Lüdenscheid.
