    Question HJ buckle for review

    Hi guys,

I'd like to have opinions about this HJ buckle on Collector's Guild:

    The Collector's Guild

I think this is a little "marking" variation: RZM is smaller and "9" is more round then the more common Assmann variant with the same C catch, nickleled steel and same marking buckle.

    Am I right?

    Many thanks!

Thanks guys! Yes the buckle is original indeed; so this is a different die for the same buckle as shown by Markus in the pinned thread HJ producers, if I am not wrong at page 2. Same buckle, same characteristics, different marking.

    All the best!

Hi Joda - my example and the buckle you posted for review are very much alike. And I agree, the shape of the 9 is different than Markus' example on page #2.

    Hello,

nice Assmann nickel over steel buckle. With some variation marking .

But one of more known by Assmann .

Think Assmann was a top maker who had a lot of stamping Tools ......
