HJ Double Maker Marked

Another HJ that just came in, albeit denazified. Happy with it as it's a double maker marked, Assmann and Overhoff, and yet again was cheap.

What's the theory behind double maker marked?

(also note that someone has attempted a partial re-nazification...

Nice marked buckle Lenny, just a shame its been denazified. The double markings were companies buying buckles from each other and re stamping, you see quite a lot between Assmann & Overhoff

Cheers Ben, thought that was the case from reading in here. It was cheap and really got it for the double marking.
