That's a nice early HJ buckle. My conversion buckle is Steinhauer & Luck buckle as well, and I like the markings on these. Regarding the KH marking, it means 'Koppelschloß Hersteller' ('belt buckle manufacturer'). The KH numbers generally correspond to M4 codes. Sometimes, UE ('Uniformen Effekten,' or 'uniform effects') numbers are seen, and these correspond to M5 codes generally.
