I was not able to participate in this online auction personally but no one else was awake at the wheel. Managed to score two buckles for about $70.00 apiece.. This RZM M4/49 is Steinhaur & Luck, Ludenscheid.. Gwar

v/nice,great price too.
Cool! I am probably going to buy a M4/46 with this injection-moulded back.
Was it only two makers of this type of buckles?
I recently read an older post by Chad the HJ expert that only M4/46 Wihelm Schroder and M4/38 RS&S produced the injection molded in aluminum. I believe injection molded HJ buckles by other makers are zinc variants.
Nice buckle G, and again mate cracking price

Here are the 2 aluminum flat back examples mentioned in post #4 above, basically to help with Wewelsburgs question. I knew I had a M4/46 but forgot about the M4/38
Nice buckles Jeff.. G-Man

Thank you weller for an educating post! This kind of posts is why I love this forum Today I'm going to buy my first buckle.
The only thing with the buckle I'm intrested in is that it has a funny 6.

If you are unsure of what you are buying post it here and get it checked out
