re: M4/22 youth buckle in gold?
M4/22 is for Christian Theodor Dicke
However, i think this is one of the Eastern European fakes that is causing a few headaches, but I'll wait on judgement until others comment

re: M4/22 youth buckle in gold?
Thanks John, how do you spot a fake on these? It did come from my grandfather along with alot of things he brought back. BUT to be in this good of condition, and not finding any others like it made me want to find out more. Either its something very rare, or fake.

re: M4/22 youth buckle in gold?
I'm not saying that it is a fake, BUT HJ leaders buckles are faked heavily. And this one looks like one that has been discussed recently elsewhere
If you look at the RZM stamping its too sloppy, also the prongs. Is it magnetic?

Re: M4/22 youth buckle in gold?
That is a rare buckle if original. I'am not a such buckle expert, but I know something in collecting world, as with my practice feelings I feel this is a good one, even I don't like the RZM code stamped on it, but I like what I see. Let's wait opinions from serious buckle and NSDAP specialists

dimas, that is exactly why i am non committal. I hope that it is real. But I have doubts. There are a couple of other things that I am not happy about, but I don't wish to discuss them yet
