M4/24 F.Linden - Aluminum

Article about: A recent addition. Nothing rare but a nice, clean aluminum Friedrich Linden for a great price. Added a couple of pics with a zinc example to compare etc.

    It looks like your buckle some gold color in a few spots. These were coated and the coating takes on a gold tint with time. I think that is what I am seeing.

    Kirby, is this a HJ Marine buckle with this finish?

    No this is just a coating that takes on a gold tint. I have a gold painted buckle that may be HJ Marine if they had gold buckles. I also have a nickel buckle that is very gold but I think it is from a smokers house and is nicotine tinted. I am sure you can pick them out.
