Recently picked up this nice little set, and it is very small. Buckle in nice condition as is the leather belt, looks like the set has been together a long time. Anyone have insight to the buckle maker based on the eagle etc. ?
Cheers

And the crowd replies "How small is it " ? Jeff do you have any photos next to known sizable objects for visual comparison ?? G
I'd rather be A "RaD Man than a Mad Man "
I have a few other small HJ/DJ buckles, but it's the extremely small belt that is interesting and the first one I have, so seems very early
Great buckle. A very interesting eagle. I don't recall seeing an seeing an eagle with it's head tilted up so high.
I want to own a set like this! Cool eagle
Its always fun to see and learn so thanks for showing
Nice buckle Jeff, Markus will more than likely chip in as he specialises in SA buckles
Ben
I'll bet eagle-eyed Markus or Ben can ID that interesting eagle
Thanks Ben.
Hi, yes they made smaller size buckles for the youth. The earliest youth organizations in the nsdap were starting to be formed around 1922, by 1933, they were in full swing as we are familiar with now. I would guess not the early 1920's, but mid to late 20's.
How long is the belt?
