I'm currently on a collecting break period, but Kenny recently posted a link to this buckle in the "Cheap/Rare/Desirable Buckles" thread. An HJ buckle I did not have so picked it up. Nice, early nickel Richard Sieper & Söhne with the small RZM 50 maker stamp under the prong bar Thanks again Kenny

Good choice Nice condition and finish. Marks under the bar are great!

But one thing that just cross my mind, I have never seen a HJ in steel marked with the correct number for R.S.S (M4/38).
    Do they exist?

Not sure if they made a steel version. I've seen zinc and aluminum. Here is a flat-back aluminum variant example.

Nice aluminum example. Markus has a zinc example posted on the main HJ maker thread.

So, to Kenny's good question, did RS&S make a steel HJ buckle?
