Why do you think that this HJ buckle is a fake?

It appears to myself as a perfectly original nickle silver (C-catch) HJ by Assmann. A desirable, although still common "triple marked" example (excluding the declaration of GES.GESCH).

Sorry, but I thought the lettering looked a little rougher than I was expecting; however on squinting at it again I will agree with you. Must remember to wear the specs when looking at detail!!
