thoughts on a belt buckle

I was looking at another ross rifle bayonet and it comes with this buckle but i know nothing about TR belt buckles. its also still attached to a belt

Looks like a nickel over brass HJ buckle by Assmann, pics of the rear would be nice but it is original, rear pics would confirm the maker

there are no pictures of the back but it is still connected to a belt
