    Very nice buckle Zep, nice to see the original tag on it and the variant markings, love the number "1" above the makers mark, there is a thread about these numbers on the buckles somewhere that Chad Williams did

    Here is the thread where Chad discusses these buckles, the meaning if the '1' stamp etc. This was the 1st HJ buckle I purchased early last year.

    Nice buckle. Can you make out if the tab was ink stamped M4/27. I can't tell by the photos.
