Hi,
Not seen one before, but could it be a German Youth tinnie?
D
I have never come across another one like it. Never seen a photo of one before. Something to do with Deutsche Junge
Nothing I've ever seen...Photo of the reverse would be helpful...
cheers, Glenn
Hi, and welcome to the forum!
The legend says "For Proficiency in the Deutche Jungfolk".
However, I have never seen this design of badge before either.
Cheers, Ade.

The M9/255 M.M. is Schwetner & Cie, Eggenburg b. Graz, as to authenticity I cannot make a judgment... G
I'd rather be A "RaD Man than a Mad Man "
Yes but that design is for the Hitler Jugend (HJ), whereas the one in question is for Deutsche Jungvolk (DJ)... so not really relevant, other than to establish the same slogan being used bu this sub-organization of the HJ (as I've come to understand).
Interesting to see full M9 designation along with the additional maker details, although this might be more common than I know as this is not really my area... this type of mixed makers detail seems to be mostly seen within the transitional period and in those cases without the M* prefix, at least this is the case for party badges.
A pretty nice yet basic design to this one though!
