bdm pennant

hi guys here a bdm pennant i think its original but i will ask you guys for your opinions.

also can anyone tell me any info on it by the numbers on it? pretty new to me this kind of thing. has two of three hooks still there and a maker tag but the inks faded and hard to read.

A very nice original example. There is a new book available from Bender Publishing by the noted author and researcher, Wilhelm Saris decoding the unit numbers used by the various youth groups. I have just ordered a copy.

The book is a most informative as Bob has said. A must have for youth collectors. It lists bann numbers and locations with timeframes. Also lists A4 RZM manufacturers. The information all comes from period documents and sources, not the SHAEF lists which are inaccurate due to time frame issues. The numbers refer to the location of the unit. This unit is from Gebiet Mitte, HJ Gebiet 15 Mittelland. Without a specific year it's more difficult to narrow it down to the exact location. It's probably Saalkries.
