Hi, found this on a market stall today. RZM marked and 72 on reverse. Any info on this one, value?
Thanks in advance, Simon.

Hi Simon
Front looks ok but I dont recognise that pin configuration.
Its either wrong or rare. Let see what others say
Nick
"In all my years as a soldier, I have never seen men fight so hard." - SS Obergruppenfuhrer Wilhelm Bittrich - Arnhem
Nick, thanks for the input
Cheers, Simon.
From what I have found the 72 is maker mark for Fritz Zimmermann of Stuttgart. I still have found no reference on its pin configuration, any ideas anyone?
Thanks in advance, Simon.
Hi simon, which size is it? i think it's a smaller size, lapel pin for DJ
Regards
Matt
Matt, its 22mm.
Thanks for the help, Simon.
i think thats bad the enamel to the front looks to glossy not transperant also looks as if the outer sircumfrence has a ruff edge all around it whare its not finished proper the rzm mark the same, also on the matter if they made lapel pins for the dj are another matter i have no comment here. jmo

Hi Simon,
the badge look good for me. The RZM logo + number is a early marking type, not all the factory understood the system for the codific.
On end of 1934, date of issue Hitler law for RZM, at the middle of 1935 we found object whith a transitional marking. (RZM logo + number).
After the middle 1935 all the object presents a classic RZM logo + M1/....
Ever IMHO.
Thanks for the information everyone. As they say "the jury is out" on this one at the moment, some say bad, some say good.
Thanks for help, Simon.
heres my earlyer pin back to show marked ges gesch, any one eles got some to show thats rzm'ed?
