The RZM tag is most definetly from a period flag manufacturer. According to the W. Saris reference the Hersteller on the paper RZM tag is Chr. Heinrich Arnold Thuringer Fahinenfabrik (which was later changed to Coburger & Thuringer Fahnenfabrik) owned by Chr. Heinrich Arnold and Erich W. Schnieder who were located in Coburg. If it is original to the banner I don't know, it would be a guess on my part. I'm not really good with trumpet banners.
Edit: It appears this company is still in buisness.
It is odd to see a one sided trumpet banner. It is also DJ, not HJ/ At close to that price, you should be able to find a period two sided example.
LIFE'S LOSERS NEVER LEARN FROM THE ERROR OF THEIR WAYS.
looks nice but you can get better for a just a bit more (better to save a bit longer and get something much better than just buy the first thing you see)
It would be DJ (age 10-14yrs), as would have been used by the younger members of the HJ. See attached photograph.
