Default HJ cap (boat cap?) - Clemens Wagner

Hi guys! I'm on the hunt for some HJ stuff and I found this cap.
What is it? The seller claims that it is a boat cap. Is that right?
I really want to know the German name of this.
And of course, is it a good one from the period?

    Thank you for your help

Typical HJ schiffen worn in the summer and at the political schools. I have no idea what "boat cap" means. It should also contain a RZM label.

I think it's in the translation Larry, Schiffchen means little ship or boat!...

So this is a boat cap? When I googled Sommer-Mütze I did find some similar caps.
The markings inside is "clemens wagner braunschweig-hamburg", it's seems to be a known maker.

Edit: After some more googling and searching here, I found out that Clemens Wagner is one of the more known makers and often faked.
You guys already know that, but it's news to me

What do you think about this cap? And I have mailed the seller and asked if there's a RZM-tag inside the cap.

Edit: The seller answered me that there is no RZM tag inside.

I dont think its true that they are supposed to have a marking inside. Some are Early examples and pre-date RZM tagged models from 1935 on. that is what i have been led to believe anyway. The red piping shows normal service duty rank.

I have seen a summer cap similar to this without markings. it had a party eagle on it. I dont think it belongs there tho!

I am aware that very early caps do not have an RZM lebel. The practice began 1933/34. Without a label, you need caution if you are inexperienced in handling these items. It is just a warning.

I know that you know And I dont have any experience at all with this kind of items, so I think that I will pass on this cap and find another one that I can verify as a good one with your help.
Thats the smartest thing to do in this situation.

    I'm greatful for your warnings!

In early 1936 this style of cap was introduced as Lagermütze, renamed in
May 1936 as Sommermütze. The RZM tag was in use since 1934 and
surely in 1935. It should have had one.

I think someone made such a field-cap from a brown-shirt and other material.
Clemens Wagner, one of the best manufacturers would have used an RZM tag.
The stamp looks as it says MRZ 1941 or such. I consider this this cap as bogus!
