HJ Cufftitle Good?

Just bought this. what do you guys think? Original or Fake?

Looks sort of new to me,seventy year old cloth should look a little tired.

Hey guys, I got the cufftitle, and I'm not feeling too good about it. I did the burn test and the thread melts and gets hard (like melted plastic), the cufftitle is also very stiff, if I lay the it over my finger it almost goes straight across. What do you guys think? The guy swears that it came from a WWII vet and it's original.
