HJ/DJ trumpet & DJ-Fanfarenbanner Opinion,sorry all the photos i have for now.

I have never seen an eagle such as this on a fanfare trumpet. I would expect something in a HJ or DJ design. Every eagle I have ever seen on a trumpet are embossed in to the material and not surface applied such as this one. As to the banner, the sig rune is very crude and not what I would expect to see on a genuine period item.

I agree with Bob but not totally on the banner because old photographs show a lot of variation on the rune. The fanfare is not HJ, the eagle is wrong for HJ as Bob said and even if it was the correct HJ eagle it would not be on a fanfare like that: supposed HJ/DJ Fanfare trumpet - Opinions? - Hitler Youth Forum
