HJ Pin Maker help

Cant make out the markings on this pin. Any one have any ideas on who the manufacturer might be?

As you know it is good but I can not make out any words. Either better pics or tell us what it reads please.

I agree on the rubbing method some may not know what that is though Tom I use a greese pencil others will use a papper and led to rubb.

Thanks I did do a rubbing it helped a bit! here are some letters I got

_ _SCMUTZ_

The M may be an H not sure

It is a patent marking:

Gesetzlich Geschutzt

which translates to "legally protected".

Thanks Adrian you rock! It will save me the time of searching the manufacturer list for one that I would never find! There may be a number under the pin latch that I may never be able to see. I think I see part of a G.
