Kriegsbücherei der deutschen Jugend
I've been fortunate, or not so fortunate..........to pick up a collection of all 156 editions of the HJ magazines and some of the rarer ones that were not numbered or sold.
Bit of a stupid question, but I'd like to get a feel for my idea, but I don't want to sell them individually it will take me an age, so I thought I would bundle them up in packs of ten, numbered of course. They sell between £10 and £20 each (which is high I think) however at £80 for a pack of ten? What do you think? as collectors, would you go for it, or just pass it over
I also got one that I've never seen before, and that is numbers 1 to 17 bound up as a book, pretty neat I think
When you're wounded and left of Afghanistan's plains,
An' the women come out to cut up what remains,
Jest roll to your rifle an' blow out your brains,
An' go to your Gawd like a soldier." - Rudyard Kipling

I have always liked the covers on these...I consider these under-appreciated and plan on adding some to my display, thinking about framing the ones with the most striking covers...I have a source in Germany selling them for 10 Euros each, and he's been sitting on them for over a year unsold...
Very nice. If you don't want them, I will buy them off of you.
nice colourful mags John.
I have a copy of Secrets of a ruined city - the story of telephone/radio troops. I paid around 25 or 30 US for it so your packaging deal sounds good. The illustrations are really great on these books and they do make a good addition to any display. NH
