What does the S marking refer to?
I am not sure what the S stands for but the B stamped into the reverse means it is a replacement. Both look okay to me but the black is the one with a replaced pin. They were awarded in black, bronze and silver.

Both are good ones.
I have a silver one with the S mark.
Just curious if anyone knows what it stands for.
Update

Thanks for the info - as per WAF - The bronze piece was made as a replacement/additional copy and the silver was the award copy.
The one marked S is the weight as the one marked B and detail on both is identical - checked using usb microscope.
As the HJ forum thread - there is no definite answer since it more based on assumptions - very interesting read indeed.
Thank you for the link.
